Schedule

Budget

Requisition
Prepare Requisition in Pro Log and provide the appropriate copies for the accounting department in a timely manner. Requisition should be prepared so that an appropriate portion of Overhead and Profit is captured and so company maintains a positive cash flow.
Submittals
Ensure that submittals are process and distributed in a time manner. Maintain accuracy so that a functional building assembly will result. Assure timeliness so that materials arrive on site on schedule. Create and track submittals in Prolog/Project Team.
Field Miscellaneous
Ensure the Administration Department receives paperwork on weekly.
Purchasing
In conjunction with the project schedule and the PM will coordinate, track and Buyout all projects. Ensuring that the best prices are obtained and savings are maximized without a negative effect on quality.
Request for Information
Write and record responses in Prolog/Project Team that address any request for information and distribute finding to the appropriate parties.
Potential Change Orders
Set – up all change orders in Prolog/Project Team in a timely and accurate manner to facilitate a prompt response. No work should be done on any project until written approval has been received.
Field Changes
Complete all necessary punch lists and Administrative paperwork from subcontractors, architects and owners.
Safety
Implement Safety Policies in the Field.
Plan, Specs, Addendum & SK’s
Maintain all documents and listings for the project and distribute them when needed.
Closeout
Ensure all warranties are in place and that the owner has signed all change order and been given the final invoice. A completion meeting should be held to review entire job, actual cost, budget estimate and any other issues related to the project.
Perform all other tasks and/or duties necessary to adequately fulfill the position’s responsibility or as assigned by the Project Manager.

Project Management:

Physical Demands/Work Environment Conditions

This individual will be responsible for the design of electrical systems across a variety of markets including Healthcare, Educational, Municipal, Mixed use and Industrial facilities. Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform the planning and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects;
Conduct traffic analysis for traffic impact studies;
Oversee field staff collecting traffic volume, road, and regulatory data;
Conduct preliminary traffic reviews at the project concept stage to identify critical traffic-related issues;
Apply knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics;

Land Survey Crew Chief - NYC
Essential Functions:
Carefully and diligently perform all phases of field surveying including; Construction Stakeout, Topographical Surveys, Preliminary Boundary Analysis/Stake Out, and As-Built surveys while utilizing tools like Trimble/Leica/Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK Units, wireless communications, 3D Laser Scanners, etc.

Civil Engineer - Long Island/NYC
Lead and manage the design process for projects, including conceptual design, detailed design, and construction documentation, while ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, objectives, and scope, and ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.
Provide technical expertise and engineering support in areas such as structural design, geotechnical engineering, construction materials, and construction technology to ensure optimal design solutions.
Develop and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports, and ensure that they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
Manage project risks and issues related to design, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
Monitor design progress, schedule, and budget, and provide regular updates and reports to clients, project managers, and other relevant parties.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design team members, including reviewing their work, providing feedback, and fostering their professional development.
Collaborate with other design disciplines, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that design coordination is effectively managed and design interfaces are resolved.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering, and apply them to enhance design processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of New York or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in design engineering, with a focus on buildings, infrastructure, or transportation projects.
Strong technical expertise in engineering principles, design codes, materials, and standards.
Proven experience in managing design projects, including developing design concepts, preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports, and ensuring successful design delivery.
Proficient in using design software and tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and other relevant design software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and design team members.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, guide, and supervise junior engineers and design team members.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Bridge Inspection Team Leader - NY
A BSCE degree with a minimum experience of 5 years in bridge inspection is preferred.
Candidates should possess extensive technical experience, verbal and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage manpower and financial resources, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Must be ready to do field and office work and have excellent verbal, interpersonal and meticulous written communication skills.
Bridge Design/Rehabilitation and Bridge Load Rating experience will be a plus.
The Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures course is preferred.
Should have Refresher course or NYSDOT BI Meeting class if the NHI two week course was taken more than 5 years ago.
FCM, tunnel inspection NHI courses, railroad, and/or safety training are a plus.

Performing field inspections and load rating.
