Responsibilities include manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. The Logistics Driver performs driving, material handling and inventory coordinating duties to ensure that all materials received, issued and shipped out of the organization are completed at maximum productivity and efficiency. This position performs inventory control, order staging, material requisitioning, and ensures proper storage and maintenance of all direct and indirect materials. The Logistics Driver also ensures that materials are placed in their proper locations and are available for issue when needed. Primary duties include: Perform daily kitting by picking inventory against kit lists requirements from service delivery schedules. Receive incoming shipments and verifies packing slip and goods received, against purchase order. Reconcile all discrepancies with purchasing immediately. Store material in system designated locations or areas for maximum inventory control and accountability. Organize and continually consolidate inventory to maximize efficiency. Work with and support Project Managers on all aspects of the project to address client goals and objectives. Observe and document field investigations and/or foundation and earthwork-related construction and remediation activities, on a part-time or full-time basis. Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables. Assist in project execution to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements. Assist with preparation of recommendations for various foundation systems, including driven piles, drilled piers, mat foundations, micro-piles, and spread footings. Evaluate seismic hazards including liquefaction. Conduct site reconnaissance. Draft technical sections of project communications and reports. Perform all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols. Contribute to development of technical approaches to problem-solving. Assist with the development of technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposal efforts on small- to medium-sized project opportunities.
